Life Cover Claim Settlement Process

1. Claim Intimation

   • The nominee or claimant must notify ICICI Prudential about the policyholder’s death

2. Claim Processing

   • ICICI Prudential verifies the submitted documents.

   • If further investigation is needed, they may ask for additional documents.

3. Claim Settlement

   • If all documents are in order, the claim is processed within 30 days.

   • For early-stage claims (within three years of policy issuance), the insurer may conduct a more detailed assessment.

4. Payout

   • The sum assured is paid to the nominee via bank transfer or cheque.
